| The Communications Division handles the emergency dispatching for the Sheriff’s Department and the towns of Alton, Barnstead, Belmont, Center Harbor, Gilmanton, Meredith, New Hampton, Northfield, Sanbornton, and Tilton on both a part-time and full-time basis. In addition, we handle calls for the New Hampshire Fish & Game Department’s local Conservation Officers, Liquor Commission, Medical Examiners and County Attorney’s Office, who are on-call through the Sheriff’s Department. The communications center is equipped with state-of-the-art digital radios and a microwave link to the communication towers.
In 2002, the communications center was dedicated posthumously in honor of Communications Supervisor Tracy Ann Beauchemin.
